- 1 stick margarine or butter, softened
- 1 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. self-rising flour
- 1 (16 oz.) can chocolate syrup
Directions

1Cream sugar and butter.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.

3Add part of flour and mix well.

4Add chocolate syrup, mixing as you go.

5Then add rest of flour; mix well.

6Bake at 325° for 35 minutes.

7Bakes well in a greased Pyrex dish. Dish size should be 8 x 12-inch or 9 x 13-inch.
