Ingredients: 1/2 c. Crisco; 1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sifted all-purpose flour; 1/4 c. granulated sugar; 1/2 tsp. vanilla; 1/4 tsp. water; 3/4 c. M&M's plain chocolate candies or 1 small bag; 1/2 c. brown sugar; 1/2 tsp. soda; 1/2 tsp. salt; 1 egg

1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sifted all-purpose flour
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. water
3/4 c. M&M's plain chocolate candies or 1 small bag
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg

Blend Crisco and sugars.

Beat in vanilla, water and egg. Sift remaining dry ingredients together and add to the sugar and egg mixture.

Mix well.

Stir in M&M's candies.

Drop from teaspoon to ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.

Makes 3 dozen 2 1/2 inch cookies.
