Easy Dill Pickles

  • 1/2 bushel pickles of similar size
  • 12 heads dill
  • 3 qt. water
  • 1 qt. vinegar
  • 1 c. salt

Directions

    Scrub pickles thoroughly and rinse.

    Pack closely into quart jars.
  3. 3
    Place a head of dill in the top of each jar.
  4. 4
    Mix water, vinegar and salt; bring to a boil and pour at once over pickles. Seal jars and store in a cool, dark place for at least 6 weeks before using.

    Makes 12 quarts.
