  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. butterscotch pudding mix
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. pecans

Directions

    Combine ingredients, except pecans.

    Cook slowly until dissolved.

    Add pecans.

    Boil slowly until candy thermometer registers 235° to 240° or until candy forms soft ball.

    Remove from heat and beat until mixture thickens.

    Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper.

    Yields 15 (4-inch) patties.
