  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits
  • several c. oil or shortening
  • confectioners sugar

Directions

    Make a hole in center of biscuits (a thimble works great). Put enough oil in frypan or electric skillet for donuts to be able to float. Heat oil to 400°. Add biscuits, turning quickly with fork when golden brown. Be sure and cook the donut holes too! Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.

    Dip in a thin glaze of confectioners sugar and water, turning to coat both sides. Or sprinkle immediately with sugar, brown sugar or confectioners sugar. Simple but delicious!
