- 1 c. long grain rice
- 1 3/4 c. water
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/2 c. diced, cooked pork, beef, chicken or shrimp
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
Directions

1Bring water to boil.

2Stir in the rice and simmer for 20 minutes.

3Remove from heat and let it sit for about 15 minutes. In a large skillet, heat the oil.

4Add the egg and cook until set, like scrambling eggs.

5Add the meat.

6Add rice, pepper and any desired vegetables such as green onion, bean sprouts, etc.

7Stir to blend ingredients.

8Add soy sauce and keep stirring until heated.
