- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 (16 oz.) can fruit (peaches, cherries, blueberries or fruit cocktail works great too)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
Directions

1Melt margarine in deep ovenproof dish.

2Mix flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, milk and vanilla flavoring (almond is good with cherries) to make a batter (pancake consistency).

3Pour over melted margarine.

4Gently pour in fruit - juice and all.

5Bake at 350° about 35 minutes until top is browned.
