- 1 stick margarine
- 3/4 c. sugar or equivalent
- 1 c. self-rising flour
- 3/4 to 1 c. milk
- 2 c. fruit
Directions

1Melt margarine in 1-quart size casserole in oven.

2Mix sugar, flour and milk.

3Pour batter into melted margarine.

4Spoon fruit over top.

5Use either small can of sliced fruit with syrup or fresh fruit with water and sugar added to make 2 cups.

6Add spice to fruit, if desired.

7Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
