Easy Garlic Cheddar Biscuits

- 2 cup Self-Rising Flour
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 1/4 cup Buttermilk
- 1/2 lb Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 1 Garlic Powder
- 1 Onion Powder
- 1 Italian Seasoning or Any Dried Herb
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425.

2Mix flour and sugar in mixing bowl.

3Add cheese.

4Stir around to evenly mix cheese and flour.

5(I've also mixed with Monterrey jack cheese before, I just didn't have any today).

6Before adding the buttermilk, melt the butter in the pan (I use a glass baking pan).

7Put butter in pan, stick in oven to melt.

8Add cold buttermilk.

9Mix until just combined

10Turn out onto floured surface, dough will be sort of wet and sticky.

11Sprinkle top lightly with flour.

12Pat out to about 1/2 inch thickness.

13Fold dough onto itself like a square, you know bottom, top and both sides to form a square.

14Pat out to 1/2 inch or so thickness.

15Cut however you like (ie.

16with with cutter or knife, you can even shape by hand)

17When putting in pan, turn biscuit on both sides to coat with butter.

18Sprinkle with seasonings.

19I sprinkler the powders first, then Italian seasoning, or dried herbs, other cheeses or cheese powders... You can do so much with this.

20Bake 15-17 minutes, can be longer or shorter depending on the thickness, and what you've added.
