- 2 onions, diced
- 1 (800 g) can crushed tomatoes
- 12 cup apple cider vinegar
- 23 cup sugar
- 12 tablespoon salt
- 14 teaspoon chili powder (or to taste)
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 (500 g) packet spaghetti (or pasta of choice)
Directions

1Cook onions in oil until transparent.

2Add vinegar and simmer gently for 1 minute.

3Add tomatoes, sugar, salt and pepper.

4Mix.

5Bring to the boil and let simmer gently until the mixture thickens slightly.

6Cook spaghetti (or pasta) as per instructions on packet.

7Drain.

8Stir tomato mixture through cooked and drained spaghetti.
