- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 3/4 c. shortening
- 1 egg yolk, beaten with cold water to make 1 c.
Directions

1Blend flour, sugar and shortening.

2Add egg yolk and water mixture.

3Stir until dough forms ball.

4Roll out.

5Recipe makes three two-crust pies, plus single crust.

6Dough may be kept in freezer several weeks.

7Thaw at room temperature.

8Mix will not make dough tough.
