Easy Hamburger Gravy

  • 1 package Ground Beef (1 1/2 To 2 Pound Package)
  • 1 whole Onion, Chopped
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste
  • 2 packages Dry Brown Gravy Mix (0.87 Ounce Packets, I Use McCormick)
  • 1- 3/4 cup Water

Directions

    Brown ground beef with chopped onion over medium heat.

    Season with salt and pepper.

    When meat is browned and onions are softened, drain the grease (if necessary).

    Add dry gravy mixes and water, stir well.
  5. 5
    Bring to a low boil then simmer over low until gravy thickens (if you prefer more gravy, add more water and a little cornstarch).

    Serve over mashed potatoes.

    Sometimes I make the potatoes from scratch, but usually I make the flake variety.

    This is one of those meals that can be made in minutes.
