Easy "Hot" Pickles

- 1 gal. pickles (dill or kosher)
- 3 oz. Tabasco sauce
- 4 lb. sugar
Directions

1Drain pickles and slice.

2Drain again.

3Refill gallon jar with a few pickles, a dash of Tabasco and some sugar.

4Repeat until all used.

5Tighten lid.

6Let stand at room temperature, turning jar several times daily.

7Let stand for 5 to 7 days.

8Refrigerate. Pickles will be crispy crunchy.
