- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. raisins
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 Tbsp. caraway seed
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 beaten egg
Directions

1Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Cream together margarine and sugar.

2Add egg and sour cream. Combine liquid mixture and dry ingredients and mix by hand just until dry ingredients are moistened.

3Add raisins and caraway seed. Place in buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole.

4Brush with melted butter.

5Make a cross from diagonal corners.

6Sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes and at 325° for another 30 minutes.
