Ingredients

  • 250 grams Ground meat (pork or beef)
  • 1 large Onion
  • 1 Carrot
  • 4 Green bell peppers (make sure to use this)
  • 1 pack Mushrooms of your choice (shiitake, button, etc.)
  • 1 Eggplant (optional; I didn't include it this time)
  • 1 Oil for stir frying
  • 2 can Canned tomatoes (whole or chopped)
  • 2 Soup stock cubes
  • 1/2 pack Curry roux (block)
  • 1 per serving Fried eggs

Directions

  1. 1
Since this is a ground meat curry, chop up all the vegetables.
  2. 2
Here are the ingredients I used this time.
  3. 3
Put oil in a pan, and stir fry the ground meat until it changes color.
  4. 4
Add the chopped veggies and stir-fry.
  5. 5
Add 2 cans of tomatoes and the 2 soup cubes and simmer.
  6. 6
If using whole tomatoes, crush them with a ladle or the equivalent.
  7. 7
After simmering for a while, a lot of moisture will come out of the vegetables.
  8. 8
Add the 1/2 pack of curry roux...
  9. 9
....mix with the liquid that's came out of the vegetables.
  10. 10
Adjust the amount of roux if necessary.
  11. 11
Simmer for a while, taking care not to let it burn on the bottom.
  12. 12
    Done!!!
  13. 13
I love to top this with a fried egg.
  14. 14
You can add other spices you have on hand, or if you're making this for little kiddies, you can add ketchup.
  15. 15
I made a curry doria (rice gratin) with leftover keema curry.
  16. 16
    It's so easy and delicious.
  17. 17
