Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (32 oz.) jar thick spaghetti sauce
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 (15 oz.) Ricotta or small curd cottage cheese
- 12 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese or Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 c. chopped parsley
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 8 oz. uncooked lasagna noodles
Directions

1Brown beef in a 3-quart saucepan.

2Drain off fat.

3Add sauce and water.

4Simmer about 10 minutes.

5Combine remaining ingredients for filling (except lasagna noodles).

6Pour about 1 cup of mixture on bottom of casserole dish.

7Layer 3 pieces of noodles.

8Cover with about 1 1/2 cups of sauce.

9Spread 1/2 of cheese filling over sauce.

10Repeat layers of lasagna, sauce and cheese filling.

11Top with layer of lasagna and remaining sauce. Cover with foil and bake at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes.

12Remove foil and bake about 10 minutes longer.
