Easy Lasagne

  • 8 oz. Skinner lasagne
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 4 c. thick spicy spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 to 3/4 c. water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar (optional)
  • 2 c. Ricotta or small curd cottage cheese
  • 3 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese or 3/4 lb. sliced
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Brown ground beef and drain excess fat.

    Add spaghetti sauce, water, salt, seasoning and sugar.

    Cover and simmer 10 minutes. In a 9 x 13-inch casserole or lasagne pan, layer 1/3 of sauce, 1/2 of uncooked lasagne pieces, 1 cup cottage cheese and 1/3 of Mozzarella.

    Repeat layers, ending with sauce and remaining Mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.

    Cover with foil.

    Bake in 350° oven for 55 to 60 minutes.

    Remove foil and let stand 10 minutes before serving.
