- 1 lb. ground beef
- 3 1/2 c. (32 oz. jar) thick spaghetti sauce
- 2 c. Ricotta or small curd cottage cheese
- 3 c. shredded Mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 9 lasagne noodles (uncooked)
Directions

1Brown beef and drain excess fat.

2Add sauce and water and simmer 10 minutes.

3Combine remaining ingredients except lasagne noodles.

4Pour 1 cup of sauce on bottom of a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.

5Layer 3 pieces uncooked noodles over sauce.

6Cover with 1 1/2 cups of sauce.

7Spread half of cheese mixture over sauce.

8Repeat with noodles, sauce and cheese.

9Top with noodles and remaining sauce.

10Cover with boil and bake at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes.

11Remove foil and sprinkle with extra Parmesan cheese. Bake 10 minutes longer.

12Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
