Ingredients
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. boiling milk
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3 1/2 to 4 c. flour
Directions

1Combine Crisco, sugar and salt.

2Pour boiling milk into ingredients and stir until dissolved.

3Cool.

4Soften yeast in warm water in which 1 teaspoon of sugar has been added.

5Add to liquid ingredients.

6Add egg and flour, stirring thoroughly.

7Let rise until doubled.

8Punch down and shape into rolls.

9Let rise again until doubled in size.

10Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.
