Ingredients

  • 133 ml Vinegar
  • 67 ml Water
  • 5 tbsp Sugar (or brown sugar)
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 10 grains Black pepper
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 2 Chilli peppers
  • 1 knob Thinly sliced ginger
  • 1 cucumber, daikon radish, carrot, onion, celery, etc. Vegetables

Directions

    Put the seasonings marked into a heatproof container and microwave at 500 W for 3 minutes.

    It's done when the sugar has dissolved.

    Put the vegetables into the warmed seasonings.

    There's no need to rub them with salt.

    Microwave for 5 minutes.

    Adjust the time to suit the amount of vegetables that you are using.

    Mix everything together, and transfer it to a storage container.

    When it has cooled down, put it in the fridge.
