  • 2 cups self raising flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 6 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 egg
  • 90 g butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons strawberry jam (or raspberry jam)

Directions

    Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix using an electric beater until well combined.

    Pour in to a 20 cm square cake tin and bake for 45 minutes at 190C or until cooked.
