- 1/4 lb. bacon, diced
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed chicken broth
- 1 c. water
- 8 oz. orzo, uncooked
- 1/4 c. fresh parsley
Directions

1In a large skillet, brown bacon until almost crisp.

2Drain off excess fat.

3Add onion and cook until tender, but not brown.

4Add chicken broth and water; bring to a boil.

5Stir in orzo and parsley; return to a boil.

6Reduce heat and simmer, covered, 15 minutes or until orzo is tender and most of liquid is absorbed. Serves 4.
