- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 5 carrots, pared and cut in 1-inch pieces
- 3 potatoes, pared and cut in 1-inch pieces
- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can whole tomatoes
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
Directions

1Coat beef with flour, salt and pepper; toss with oil in a 3-quart casserole.

2Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 30 minutes. Cover and bake at 375° for 2 hours or until meat is tender.
