  • 2 lb. stew meat
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 small onion
  • 4 carrots, cut up
  • 4 small potatoes, cut up
  • 1 c. diced celery
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce

Directions

    Combine flour, salt, pepper and paprika in a paper bag.

    Drop in beef and shake well.

    Mix with oil in a casserole baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 30 minutes (stir once).

    Add vegetables, etc., water and tomato sauce.

    Mix well.

    Cover.

    Bake at 350° approximately 2 hours.
