- 4 c. boiling water
Directions

1Preheat oven to 500°.

2Put rice in a 3-quart or larger casserole. Add boiling water and salt and pepper. Cover. Place casserole in oven. Shut off oven and forget it until morning. Refrigerate and heat before serving. Can also be frozen.
