- 6 c. thinly sliced pickling cucumber (25 small)
- 2 small onions, sliced
- 1.75 c. sugar
- 1 c. white or cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 1 tsp. celery seed
Directions

1Layer pickling cucumbers and onions in deep container.

2Mix remaining ingredients thoroughly until sugar is dissolved.

3Pour on cucumbers and onions.

4Cover and refrigerate.

5Pickles are ready to eat after 24 hours.

6Pickles can be stored in refrigerator up to 1 month.

7Makes about 1 1/2 quarts.
