- 2 cups cottage cheese
- 4 eggs separated
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup flour

- 1 cup mashed potatoes cooked
- 1 cup flour
Directions

1Rub thoroughly until free from lumps.

2Add butter, egg yolks, salt, sugar and flour.

3Beat thoroughly until light.

4Add well beaten egg whites and fold in, carefully.

5Turn out onto floured board.

6Roll with hands into long narow roll.

7Flatten and cut slantwise into pieces 2 inches long.

8Cook in boiling salted water until they rise to the top. Lift with straining spoon and cover with lightly browned, buttered crumbs.

9They are delicious with sour cream flavored with cinnamon and sugar.
