- 4 to 5 center-cut pork chops
- 2 Tbsp. margarine or shortening
- 3 1/2 c. water
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Brown pork chops in a large skillet with margarine.

2Pork chops should be cooked all the way through prior to the next step. Add 2 1/2 cups water to skillet and simmer pork chops for 15 to 20 minutes on medium-high heat.

3Add flour to 1 cup warm water; mix well.

4Salt and pepper simmering pork chops.

5Add flour to the skillet, stirring constantly.

6Add more water if gravy is too thick.
