  • 3 sticks oleo, softened
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 sugar box sifted cake flour (not packed)
  • 1/3 c. water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. lemon

    Cream the butter and sugar.

    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

    Add flour, then water.

    Beat well.

    Use about 1 inch of 1 stick of butter to grease pan.

    Bake in a 350° oven for 1 hour.
