Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix (white or yellow)
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 2 1/2 c. warm water
  • 5 to 6 c. flour

Directions

    Place water in bowl; add salt.

    Mix yeast into dry cake mix and add to water mixture.

    Add flour and mix; knead until smooth. Cover and let rise in warm place for 1 hour.

    Shape into rolls and let stand until double in size.

    Bake in preheated 450° oven about 20 to 25 minutes.

    Makes 2 to 3 dozen.
