  • 8 oz. butter
  • 8 oz. brown sugar
  • 8 oz. self-rising flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 4 lg. eggs

Directions

    Cream together butter and sugar Add sieved flour and baking powder Add eggs and give mixture a quick beat.

    Pour into a greased 8-inch square cake tin and bake in oven 350F for 65 minutes.

    Turn out onto wire tray.
