- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 c. warm water
- 1 1/2 sticks melted butter
- 1/3 c. sugar, divided
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 4 c. self-rising flour, sifted before measuring
Directions

1Put yeast and 1 tbsp of the sugar in the water.

2Cream butter and sugar in large bowl.

3Add egg and yeast mixture to creamed mixture.

4Stir in flour until well mixed.

5Put in an airtight bowl; keep in refrigerator (will keep 2-3 days).

6To bake, preheat oven to 350 degrees.

7Spoon mixture into mini muffin pans, filling level.

8Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
