  • 1/2 lb. margarine
  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 3 egg yolks

Directions

    Mix all ingredients together.

    Divide into 2 balls; chill, covered, in plastic wrap, 2 to 3 hours.

    Make 2 strudels.
  4. 4
    Roll out each part as thin as pie crust on floured surface into a rectangle.

    Spread half of filling on dough.
  6. 6
    Roll up as in a jelly roll.
  7. 7
    Do the same with other half.

    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375° for 30 minutes.

    Cool.

    When serving, cut and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
