Easy Stuffed Peppers

- 6 medium-size green peppers
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 c. bread crumbs
- 1 slightly beaten egg
- 2 Tbsp. minced onion
- scant 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed tomato soup
Directions

1Remove tops and seeds from peppers.

2Split lengthwise.

3Steam or cook shells in small amount of boiling water about 5 minutes. Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, beaten egg, onion, salt, pepper and one-half can of soup.

4Fill peppers with stuffing.

5Bake in 375° oven for 30 minutes.

6Pour remaining soup over peppers. Continue cooking 15 minutes.

7Serves 4 to 6.
