  • 2 loaves frozen bread dough, thawed
  • chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 (4 oz.) pkg. vanilla pudding mix (do not use instant mix)

Directions

    Line a 9 x 13-inch greased baking pan with the nuts.

    Break 1 loaf of bread into small balls and put into pan.
  3. 3
    Combine sugar, cinnamon, butter, milk and pudding mix in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

    Pour mixture over bread in baking pan.
  5. 5
    Break remaining loaf of bread into small balls and put on top of mixture in pan.
