- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 large onion
- 1 c. water
- 1 (1 1/4 oz.) envelope taco seasoning mix
- 1 pkg. tortilla chips
- 1/2 head lettuce, shredded
- 1 (2 1/4 oz.) can sliced ripe olives, drained
- 1 c. shredded cheese (Cheddar or Monterey)
Directions

1Cook and stir ground beef and onion in 10-inch skillet until lightly browned; drain.

2Stir in water and seasoning mix.

3Heat to boil.

4Reduce heat.

5Simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes.

6Layer tortilla chips in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan. Spoon beef mixture over chips.
