- 1 (10 ounce) can pitted black olives
- 3 anchovy fillets, rinsed
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tablespoons capers
- 1 tablespoon basil, slivered
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Directions

1Thoroughly rinse the olives in cool water.

2Place all ingredients in the bowl of a food processor(mini on is just right). .

3Process to combine stopping to scrape down sides of bowl until mixture becomes a coarse paste app 1 to 2 minutes.

4Transfer to a bowl and refrigerate until ready to serve.
