Easy Vegetable Casserole

  • 2 cans LeSueur English peas
  • 1 can water chestnuts
  • 4 hard-boiled eggs
  • 8 slices American cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can green asparagus
  • 1 or more cans mushrooms
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 can onion rings

Directions

    Butter a 12 x 8-inch Pyrex dish.

    Place drained peas in bottom, next add drained asparagus, water chestnuts, sliced drained mushrooms, sliced eggs, salt and pepper.

    Spread soup over top. Place slices of cheese over all and sprinkle top with onion rings. Bake at 350° about 25 minutes.

    Serve hot.
