  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 lb low-fat sausage
  • 34 cup chopped onion
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 (15 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons parsley flakes
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon basil leaves
  • 3 cups cottage cheese
  • 12 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 (16 ounce) box lasagna noodles (cooked)
  • 34 lb mozzarella cheese
  • 12 cup parmesan cheese

Directions

    Brown turkey burger, sausage, onion and garlic.

    Drain.

    Add tomatoes and break up.

    Stir in tomato sauce, parsley flakes, sugar and basil.

    Simmer 45 minutes.

    In a bowl, mix cottage cheese, parmesan cheese, parsley flakes, salt and oregano.

    In a 9x13 inch pan, layer noodles, cottage cheese mixture and meat sauce.

    Top with mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.

    Bake for 45 minutes at 350*.
