- 1 c. cornmeal
- 1 2/3 c. boiling water
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. oleo
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 3 egg yolks, well beaten
- 3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Directions

1In saucepan, add boiling water to cornmeal.

2Cook, stirring until mushy consistency.

3Remove from heat.

4Add sugar, baking powder, salt and oleo.

5Stir in milk and well beaten egg yolks. Fold in egg whites.

6Bake in greased 2-quart casserole at 325° for 50 to 55 minutes.

7Serves 6.
