Egg/Bacon Bake Recipe

  • 1 pound bacon, fried & crumbled
  • 8 to 10 slices white bread, crusts removed
  • 2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 doz. Large eggs
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Directions

    After frying bacon, grease a 9 x 13 inch pan with oil.

    Arrange bread to create single layer covering bottom of pan.

    Next layer is bacon; then sprinkle cheese.

    Combine Large eggs, lowfat milk, salt and pepper.

    Pour over everything.

    Cover and chill overnight.

    Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour (uncovered).

    Don't overcook.

    Serves 10 to 12.
