- 3/4 lb. sausage
- 3/4 lb. ground beef
- 1 chopped onion
- 8 slices white bread, crusts removed
- 2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar
- 8 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 3/4 tsp. dry mustard
- salt and pepper
- 10 3/4 oz. cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 soup can milk
Directions

1Cook sausage and ground beef with onion until meat is brown and onion tender.

2Drain.

3Butter bottom and sides of 9 x 13 pan.

4Line the bottom with 8 slices of bread.

5Layer meat and cheese mixture, beginning with meat, ending with cheese, until all are used up.

6In a large bowl, combine eggs, milk, dry mustard, salt and pepper. Pour over layers in baking dish.

7Cover; refrigerate overnight.
