  • 8 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 lb. cooked sausage or ham
  • 1 can green chiles
  • 1 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 6 to 8 slices white bread (for crust)

Directions

    Line bottom of casserole (9 x 13-inch) with bread.

    Beat eggs; add milk and beat once again.

    Combine with ingredients in order listed and pour over bread.

    Cover and cook for 45 minutes at 325°.
