- 12 slices bread
- 1 qt. milk
- 6 eggs
- 1 c. grated cheese
- 1 c. cubed ham
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Beat eggs; add salt, pepper and milk.

2Cut crust from bread; butter one side.

3Butter a 9 x 12-inch Pyrex dish.

4Place 6 slices of bread (buttered side down) in the dish.

5Cover with grated cheese and ham.

6Place remaining slices of bread (buttered side up) on top.

7Pour egg mixture over all.

8Refrigerate, covered, overnight.

9Bake for 1 hour at 350°, uncovered, in pan of water.
