- 2 c. milk (save 1/8 c.)
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 6 eggs (save 3 whites)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Boil milk, sugar and butter.

2Beat eggs with reserved milk and add vanilla.

3Pour hot mixture in egg mixture, beating constantly. Pour into unbaked pie crust and bake for 45 minutes or until firm at 350°.

4Beat egg whites until stiff.

5Add 3/4 cup sugar and vanilla.

6Beat again until stiff.

7Put on pie and brown in a 350° oven.
