  • 3 eggs or 6 egg yolks
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/3 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 c. scalding hot milk
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Beat eggs lightly.

    Beat in sugar, salt, nutmeg, flour, vanilla and milk.

    Pour into unbaked pie crust.

    Bake at 450° for 15 minutes.

    Reduce heat to 350° and cook about 25 minutes.
