- 1/4 lb. butter, softened
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 4 eggs
- 2 1/2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 unbaked pie shells
Directions

1Cream butter, sugar and cornstarch together in bowl.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3Stir in milk, vanilla and nutmeg, mixing well.

4Pour into pie shells.

5Bake at 425° for 15 minutes.

6Reduce temperature to 325°.

7Bake 15 minutes longer.
