  • 2 c. milk, scalded
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. sugar
  • a little butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • pinch of salt

Directions

    Sift together the dry ingredients.

    Add eggs, vanilla and milk.

    Pour in two unbaked pie crusts.

    Bake in hot oven (420°) for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 375°.

    Bake for 45 minutes more.

    Makes 2 pies.
