- 6 egg whites
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Have egg whites at room temperature.

2Beat egg whites until they are very stiff.

3Add the sifted sugar and salt very slowly, 1/2 teaspoon at a time.

4Beat the eggs on high speed constantly. Add the vanilla.

5Continue to beat for several minutes after the last of the sugar and vanilla have been added.

6They should be very stiff.

7Place by spoonfuls, depending on the size you want the kisses, on a large baking sheet that has been covered with brown paper.

8Place in center of a 325° oven for 4 to 5 minutes. Turn off oven and leave kisses until oven is cool.

9Egg Kisses may be made several days ahead.
