- 2 c. commercial egg nog
- 4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 c. diced candied fruit or raisins
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Combine egg nog, sugar, corn syrup and salt in a Dutch oven; cook over low heat, stirring frequently, until mixture reaches soft ball stage (234°).

2Cool to lukewarm.

3Add butter and beat until mixture is no longer shiny (about 5 minutes).

4Stir in fruit or raisins and pecans.

5Spread in a buttered 8-inch square pan. Cool and cut into squares.

6Yields 25 squares.
